As the 40th year of Earth day approaches Kitchener’s Living Earth Festival is proud to announce their new partner Think Recycle!

Bring your old electronics to the Forsyth lot at Duke and Young streets (adjacent to Kitchener City Hall) from 10am to 2pm Saturday, April 24th

Acceptable collection items include:

*cell phones*inkjet cartridges*laser cartridges*digital cameras*televisions*monitors*fax machines*keyboards*mice*hard drives*disk drives*desktop computers*laptops*scanners*copiers*servers*circuit boards*network hardware*modems*data tapes*PDAs*VCRs*computer speakers*DVD players*video game consoles*video game controllers*telephones*adapters*wireless devices*pagers*chargers*MP3 players*answering machines*

    apparently Rona or Home Depot have centers within the store for those things… and paints, batteries, regular bulbs etc. Ikea too. there are holes in the walls before you head into the shopping area specifically for those compact florescent (thanks to judy for that information!)

    you know what they need…a recycling depot for compact florescent lights.
