re-make-able is thinking of a supply swap

10 Jul

along with many many other ways to interact with all our fabulous fans… so to help us decide where to put our time we need you to answer a few short questions

if we get enough of a response we will setup the swap for early fall — just in time for all of those christmas gifts you will be making.

what is a “supply swap”?

  1. you will provide your name + address in our registration, along with many others across the world who will do the same
  2. once we have a solid list of names you will receive an email of your partners mailing address
  3. you will go through your unused supply of materials (you know those scrapbook pages you bought last year, and still havent use??) and pack them into an 8.5 x 11 envelope — and send the goodies off to your new crafting buddy — you are not to go out and buy anything new.
  4. NOTE: in your registration we will ask what your #1 crafting activity is in order to match you to someone with similar crafting passions.

PS: One of the coolest gifts I ever got was 40 odd years ago from a little elderly lady who worked in Curry’s Srt Store part time. Her daughter was travelling the world by backpack and my friend had saved all the stamps from the lettters she received. For a going away gift she gave me a jelly jar candle covered in these colourful stamps. When the candle is lit the colours on the jar dance – it is truly beautiful. It is one of my most treasured possessions.

This doesn’t turn my crank at all – but giving and receiving something small (re-make-able) between re-cycle artists would be a blast.
